DIFFREALWAVE:
A New Parallel Real Wavepacket code
|
|
|
 |
¡@ |
|
¡@
Marlies Hankel in collaboration with Prof. Gabriel Balint-Kurti from the
University of Bristol (UK) has developed a new parallel real wavepacket code
to calculate differential cross sections (J. Chem. Phys. 125, 164303 (2006)).
The code has been successfully tested for the H3 system and is being
currently further developed to treat more complex systems. The code which is
available on request under license has been distributed to 7 international
groups since its first publication on 24-October-2006. Three of these groups
have entered a collaboration.

Sun
Australia HPC Grid Workshop at UQ, Brisbane, Australia |
¡@
The
Sun Australia HPC Grild
Workshop at UQ
which is jointly hosted by Sun Microsystems Australia, The Centre
for Computational Molecular Science (CCMS, UQ) and the Asia Pacific Science and
Technology Centre (APSTC, Sun Microsystems, Singapore), Apirl 2006.
High Performance Computing and Grid Computing have taken the
world by storm. There is a rising wave of usage in Grid Computing within the
Academic, Research and Commercial circles as people want to harness the power of
sharing powerful computing resources and data. Sun has been a key technology
partner and provider in the majority of grid deployments.
Together with UQ and APSTC, Sun Microsystems is bringing you the
latest information in practical use of HPC and Grid. You will hear also how some
institutions are making it a reality for their scientists by setting up their
own Sun Grid.
This event is a workshop for Sun Grid users or researchers and
practitioners who are interested in harnessing Grid Computing, and becoming part
of Sun's high performance and technical computing community.
Marlies gave a talk at the workshop. The topic of workshop is " The CCMS
Computer Facility"
